Jeff had only 5 minutes on the track for practice due to some problems with the car, he missed an hour of practice.  He only got 20 laps total before qualifying and he had to make a good qualifying run.  Jeff made a really impressive 15th quickest qualifying.  The field at this event was very competitive with Frank Kimmel was just right in front of Jeff.  Jeff had a time of 17.092 and Frank Kimmel had a time of 17.081.  With this being only the forth short track race in stock cars and the first in this type of car that Jeff has done it came naturally.  During the race Jeff just wanted to have a clean race and to finish with a decent finish.  So with next to nothing damage and a 15th place finish Jeff was very pleased with the Toledo race.

If you were wondering were Jeff was in the ChicagoLand race, he was not able to qualify due to mechanical issues with the car.  During the practice Jeff was fast right out of the box.  After about 15 laps the motor blew up.  There was limited time to put a new motor in the car before qualifying, so the team worked hard to put a new motor in the car.  The team got the new motor in the car in time for qualifying.  Jeff went out for his qualifying run, but third and fourth gear were not there.  Not able to make a lap he came in the pits and the team had 5 minutes to make a change to make the car work.  Turned out that the transmission (which was connected to the new motor to make the motor change quicker) was broken on the internal side.  There was nothing that could be done to make the transmission work and Jeff was not able to make a qualifying run.  Without a provisional he was not able to make the race.

"It was a disappointing to not make the race but that is the way racing goes sometimes," Jeff said.  "If it was so easy then everyone would be doing it."

Jeff had an impressive 15th qualifying run.  He was able to cut 8 tenths off of his best practice lap with the BoSPoker.net car.  The competition was very steep at this event.  With a lot of Cup development teams at made this weekend  very competitive.  ARCA being the support series for the Nascar Nextel Cup and Busch weekend a lot of teams came to impress.  Jeff had a short race in Michigan due to a wreck that happened in front of him and he had nowhere to go. Jeff made a pit stop to make some adjustments and fuel which put him in the back.  This caused him to be behind slower traffic and they happened to crash in front of him. Results...

If you didn't catch the Nashville race, Jeff had a great 10th place finish .  He qualified in 13th and was able to work his BoSPoker.net Dodge up to 10th for a top 10 finish in his first ARCA race.  "The BoSPoker.net car was great the whole weekend.  The team gave me a great car for the race.  I am very pleased with a top 10 finish.  This series is very competitive with a lot of great teams and drivers," Jeff said when asked about his debut race.  Results...

This was the first time in the car so Jeff took some time getting used to the car and the track.  Took some laps getting adjusted.  "I think the test went really well.  The car felt good.  We will be faster for the race.  The goal for this test was to get comfortable in the car." Jeff said about the test.
